Studebaker first car to go 200 mph came in at 210mph. when I was a kid. I got to see the Studebaker in the basement of the capital in Salt Lake City.

I had a set of grandparents that lived in Hesperia/Victorville and another set that lived in Lancaster so I've spent many summers out on the dry lakes of the high desert of California. This was always my favorite place to go. Watching the heat risers in the distance almost mesmerized me as a young boy. It's a barren place but also a beautiful place. The word peaceful comes to mind.

Hello, I didnt know how else to get to you but I was wondering if I could use your video of the 2013 el mirage rollover for a crash compilation. Ofcourse I would give you credit and if not its totally fine!

It’s still messes with my head, when you hear a overhead valve engine a lot of that noise is from the valve train.

All considered, she did well. Could have been worse.

Aardema/ Braun sounds like an old school Indy engine at full song 🤟💪

I used to go to El Mirage dry lake back in the late 70's to mid-80's. We called it El Garage back then. Adelanto was a tiny little one gas station/quicky mart town.

Man I would have loved to see that last run. Gene is... I think... 94 this year. How did he run?
